Students Celebrate “Bike Week”

ready set go

group at lake

A grant through “Local Motion, Way to go!” allowed us to get the bike trailer for a week.  Bikes and safety helmets were kept in the Kohl’s Kids Bike Smart trailer for the week and were used during PE classes, at recess, after school and for math/science or religion classes.  Students were also allowed to bring their own bike for the week.

In addition to safety instruction, students enjoyed riding at the Crystal Lake park and around the playground at school.  Jumps and cone courses were also provided for the students to use.

Congratulations to Alumnus Celeste Piette!
