SUMMER HOMEWORK

Read 2 books.  We will use the second for a sandwich book report when school returns.  The book given to you to read and return, keep a journal (this is the paper journal I gave you) on the book you can draw and write about what you read.  If another person in your family wants to do this with you they can! You can write /draw back and forth with each other about the book you read. I will include some questions about the book if you are stuck and need some ideas. These will be your first two reading grades.

  • Also continue practicing your multiplication, addition, and subtraction facts.  The better you know them the easier math will be for you.

Students can continue to work in their math books that will be going home for the summer. This will help them to build upon their math skills and gain practice as well. They can continue with Xtra-Math and Khan Academy too!   I am also sending home vocabulary books for students to work in over the summer on a rainy day.  Please have your child continue reading throughout the summer.
