Students attend the Chrism Mass at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral in Burlington
Morgan, Maria, Dylan and Mrs. Ledoux traveled to Burlington to attend the annual Chrism Mass celebrated by Bishop Coyne and all priests of the diocese of Burlington on Tuesday of Holy Week. At the Chrism Mass the Bishop blesses all sacred oils to be used in the sacraments this coming year.
5th and 6th graders perform the Stations of the Cross for Lent
Students from the 5th and 6th grade class performed the 14 Stations of the Cross for the student body after the weekly school Mass.
Three students compete in the State Mathcounts competition.
Jude Coe, Marina Rockwell and Jacob Sicard competed in the State Mathcounts Competition on Saturday, March 17th at Vermont Technical College.
Relic of St. Peter’s chain travels to St. Paul’s Catholic School
The relic of St. Peter’s chain was displayed for students at St. Paul’s Catholic School. The relic was brought to Burlington, from the Vatican, by Bishop Louis de Goesbirand, the first Bishop of Burlington in 1893. The Bishop’s Archivist, Kathleen Messier, transported the relic to and from Burlington, and told the history of the relic. Later, some students venerated the relic with Fr. Naples.
Students enjoy Youth Rally in St. J
Students in grades 5-8 attended a joint youth rally with students from Good Shepherd Catholic School in St. J and then made a visit to the local Fairbanks Museum.
Girl’s Basketball Team takes first place at the annual Lions’ Tournament
The St. Paul’s and Orleans combined girl’s basketball team took first place in the Lion’s Tournament held at LRUHS. Congratulations Team!
7th and 8th graders attend Catholic Schools Week Mass in Burlington
Members of St. Paul’s Catholic School 7th and 8th graders and their chaperones attended a special Catholic Schools Week Mass at St. Joseph’s Co-Cathedral in Burlington with students from Catholic schools in Vermont. After the Mass, the group enjoyed an outing at the Get Air facility in Williston.
