Pre-School and After School Care assistance for 12 and under is available based on a income sensitivity. A family of 5 making $61,500 can still qualify for 10% help.
P 17 of our handbook:
Each child admitted to St. Paul’s Catholic School must have evidence of a successful vaccination for diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and polio. Also required is a rubella / rubeola vaccination and tuberculin skin test. Hearing and vision screening are given during the school year when available. In rare circumstances, the medical and religious exemptions will be considered. The religious exemption will need to be presented to the Pastor of the school. The Catholic Medical Association states that: “We think that vaccination is a moral good, that it’s good for patients, and that it has benefited society greatly. We have a responsibility as moral agents to protect the common good and to immunize ourselves and our children against communicable disease.”
We have a 97.6 % immunization rate as reported in our Immunizations report.
In an effort to increase our School Safety measures, we would like to have the families read this article on Dos and Don’ts about school safety in the even of an incident at school.
In 2018, the teachers trained in a program called ALICE. This is a response protocol to a violent intruder. Learn more by watching this YouTube clip (rating PG):
